The 6,500 square foot, historic Scales-Fortson mansion was
built in the 1890's of California Redwood and features an antique
leaded glass window and a curved walnut staircase imported from
France. The huge front porch simply calls for you to spend time swinging
on the porch swing. Located near the Navarro County
Courthouse, the Inn is convenient for shopping in the many antique
stores in the downtown area.
The library is available for our guests to relax and visit
with family and friends.
Breakfast is served in the
Music room for small groups or the spacious dining room for larger
groups. The 1890's
Tearoom is open for special events any time for groups of eight or
more. The Inn is available for special dinner parties of
eight to fifty guests by advance reservations.
Dining
Room - Guests are seated at round tables with floor length
tablecloths and antique chairs. The dining room seats 30 -
40 guests and more can be seated in the adjoining Living Room and
the adjacent sunroom.
